Brainstorm research questions

I’m a medical researcher in pediatric radiology. Based on this medical dataset and your knowledge of what top-tier journals look for, what are some compelling research questions, analyses, or novel angles I could pursue to develop a publishable paper?

Critique your research paper

Below is my manuscript. Please act as a top-tier peer reviewer and read it thoroughly: - Focus on identifying conceptual, structural, or scientific weaknesses that might lead reviewers to reject it from a high-impact journal. - Give me specific, actionable suggestions on how to revise those weak points. - Recommend a shortlist of appropriate journals for submission.

Identify potential drug candidates

I used machine learning to identify ~50 potential treatments for POEMS syndrome. Will you assess and validate these treatments? For each treatment, let me know the biological rationale for why it may work and why it may not. Then re-rank them based on existing evidence.

Create content for a clinical research study

I’m generating a word list recall for a memory test. Create a list of 10 words in American English at a sixth-grade reading level, each with a moderate level of word frequency.

Tailor a meal plan for your patient

I am a family physician giving dietary advice to a 46-year-old man who is unhoused and lives out of his vehicle. He works at a local gas station and has diabetes and hypertension. He has no access to refrigeration. He can only cook on a charcoal grill. His monthly food budget is $250. - Please estimate realistic price ranges for staples he can reasonably access, such as canned, dried, and shelf-stable foods that can be cooked on a grill. - Identify foods and combinations appropriate for both diabetes and high blood pressure, focusing on low sodium, complex carbohydrates, high fiber, and lean protein choices that fit his living situation. - Develop a practical one-week rotating meal plan including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks that can be prepared with minimal equipment and no refrigeration.

Get a crash course

I am interested in the Chief Medical Officer role at a nonprofit community hospital. Please give me a crash course on what I need to know, with an emphasis on how current legislation has or may impact healthcare delivery and what that means for a CMO.

Debate big questions

Does AI-assisted scientific authorship add to the scientific method, or should it be approached with caution? Write a short reflection. Consider such topics as transparency, reproducibility, and human-AI collaboration.

Identify data in a research paper

You are an expert scientist specializing in human genetics. Please carefully review the provided research paper. - Identify and tell me explicitly where the authors have deposited or provided access to the GWAS summary statistics used or generated in their study. - Include repository names, accession numbers, URLs, or specific sections of the manuscript if mentioned.

Translate your research into layman’s language

Read this paper very carefully, reason about it, then write a report in layman’s language that captures all the important points and why this research is significant or impactful to the field. Explain what this means for therapeutics and diagnosis for ME/CFS.

Analyze a large dataset

I am looking for genes that may cause urogenital disorders. I need help studying a large proteomic dataset on patient urine. Based on the attached file, do any of these cases have urine proteomic values that seem unique or drastically different from the others? If so, what is different about them?

Generate personalized pictures for test stimuli

Create an image for a cognitive assessment that is culturally appropriate and clear for people to describe based on the following guidance: A clean, horizontal digital artwork of an indoor community space in soft, semi-stylized illustration style (not realistic). The scene includes exactly 12 unique content units: 4 people, each performing a completely different activity (e.g., reading, painting, stretching, watering a plant) and 8 distinct inanimate objects (e.g., potted plant, wall art, rug, bookshelf, window, chair, table with supplies, floor lamp). Each person and object must be fully visible and clearly different — no repetitions in action, object, or appearance. Distribute the content evenly across the image with exactly 3 content points in each quadrant (upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right). Use soft colors, clear separation between elements, and a warm, family-friendly tone. The image should be free of text and easy to interpret visually, especially on a mobile screen.

Design a roadmap

You are a healthcare operations strategist and clinical informaticist. Design a sustainable primary-care clinic model for a 3,500-patient rural/suburban panel with about 50% Medicare coverage, limited in-house ancillary staff, and APP shortages. - Optimize for continuity, same-day access, and financial viability under realistic FFS + TCM + RPM assumptions (CCM optional). - Include team structure, visit flow, access strategy, projected CPT mix and revenue, quality metrics, and practical ways AI automation could reduce workload. Conclude with a 90-day implementation roadmap.

Build a curriculum that can become a book

Let’s build a curriculum geared toward medical students and MBA students that teaches the essentials of healthcare finance, such as payer mix, RVUs, cash flow, and business modeling. The goal is to eventually turn it into a book or course.

Design a course

I’m designing a healthcare education module for high school students to understand how AI can assist medical professionals. Can you help me create an engaging worksheet that introduces AI in nursing and includes a simple ethical scenario for discussion?

Make connections across scientific literature

You are a domain-expert researcher. I’m attaching several academic papers — each presenting distinct theories, datasets, or methodologies. Please: • Summarize each paper’s key findings in one or two sentences. • Identify and explain at least three non-obvious connections or thematic overlaps across the papers. • Propose at least three novel hypotheses or research ideas that emerge only when these works are considered together. For each proposed idea, outline: • a concise title • why it follows logically from the combined literature • one possible experimental or computational approach to test it Present your answer in a structured report with clearly labeled sections (Summary, Connections, New Ideas, Next Steps)

Brainstorm next-generation treatments

You are a world‐leading expert in HIV, immunology, and therapeutic development. Your goal is to map out 10 clear paths that, if pursued rigorously, could finally solve the HIV cure/vaccine challenge. Develop and describe 10 distinct, high‐impact approaches—ranging from novel immunogens and delivery platforms to cell- and gene-based therapies—that could realistically lead to either a functional cure or an effective vaccine. For each approach, include: • A concise name or concept title • Underlying biological rationale • Key technological or methodological innovation • Anticipated mechanism of action • Major technical or safety challenges and how to address them • A rough timeline or next‐step experiment to validate feasibility Be bold, interdisciplinary, and specific.

Convert data to a different schema

I need to map incoming HL7v2 messages to valid R4 FHIR. I have provided deidentified messages in a ZIP file for incoming analysis.

Get up to speed quickly on a condition

Tell me everything you know about retinitis pigmentosa.

Update a policy based on today’s standards

Can you give me a primer regarding creating/revising a policy for a hospital ethics committee by today’s standards? Please refer to current best practices in the U.S. for a nonprofit community hospital. Focus on who should sit on the committee, what should trigger calling the ethics committee (routinely or emergently), the timeline for a decision, and follow-up actions of the committee.

Understand the potential of neural networks for chemistry

When using graph neural networks for chemical property prediction, an important aspect is chirality. How do existing architectures deal with chirality and what are the limitations?

Create a reading list

Make a list of the top literature from 2024 on AI and healthcare. “Top” can mean anything from an exciting topic to an extremely useful method to a dataset that enables new and important research. With the list, please include the reason the paper was chosen.
