[close] We NEVER email authors or publishers offering to promote books in exchange for payment. This is a large GR scam happening across many groups since GR took the ability of direct messaging away from the platform. Love books? Love a challenge? You're in the right place. Nothing But Reading Challenges is a community for readers who want to make their reading life more exciting. We turn reading into an adventure with creative challenges, monthly discussions, reading games, competitions and plenty of bookish fun. Whether you're trying to tackle that towering TBR pile, discover new authors or simply spend more time reading, you'll find encouragement, inspiration and great recommendations from fellow members. Because reading is better when it's shared.

"It's like a cross between ____ and ____ with a little Harry Potter thrown in." "YOU'VE NEVER READ ____?!?" You know the drill. Your friends reference it, your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/"sort of thing?" raves about it, even your favorite movies quote it, or it IS your favorite movie but you've never read the book. This group is for those of us for whom one of the following may apply... - we have finally developed a taste for reading and are severely behind on classics; - we kindaaa, sortaaa, but actually slept through English class in high school and used Sparknotes/Hollywood remakes to write our book reports; - we buy a book that everyone is talking about and it sits on our shelf, and sits there... and sits there; - we've heard the hype and are finally getting around to reading the actual book; - we want to expand our horizons beyond the single genre we usually read and want to do so with some time-tested material; - we just plain old want to get everyone off our backs for not having read _____. Every month we'll choose three books to read: 1) a classic (that everyone has probably read but us), 2) a "modern" classic or popular book that everyone is talking about, and 3) a bookshelf catch-up in which we choose a book the group has already read to catch-up with other members.

[close] ☕🌿 Welcome to the Cosy Lit Society 📖🎀 One book. One month. Lots of opinions. The Cosy Lit Society is our little monthly reading ritual — a place for good books, cosy nights, good food, drinks of choice and very serious discussions about fictional people. We read a little bit of everything: classics, fantasy, romance, romantasy, thrillers, mythology, historical fiction and whatever else we can't stop talking about. Each month we finish one book together, rate it, discuss it, compare our final thoughts to our first impressions and reveal the next read. Our only real rules: no spoilers, let everyone have their say, disagree kindly, and never apologise for an unpopular book opinion. ♡ Founding read — September 2026: Wuthering Heights — Emily Brontë 🌿 Good books. Kind people. Cosy nights.
