[close] Big Ideas Book Club Melbourne, Australia | 3,767+ Members | 4.7★ Rating Big Ideas Book Club is a Melbourne-based reading community for anyone who enjoys books that make us think, question, and explore new perspectives. Each month, we alternate between fiction and non-fiction, selecting books that inspire meaningful conversations about ideas, experiences, society, identity, relationships, history, philosophy, and more. Our discussions go beyond “Did you like the book?” We explore what stayed with readers, what challenged their thinking, what questions remain unanswered, and what different perspectives the book offers. We welcome thoughtful disagreement and different interpretations. You don't need to be an expert just bring your curiosity and perspective Our community is reader-focused, with discussions centered on the ideas generated by each book rather than formal promotion. Authors may occasionally participate in discussions or Q&As, but the book and its readers remain at the heart of the conversation. Read. Question. Discuss. Explore. Hosted by Dr George Aranda.
